My fiance and I came here to eat filipino food while visiting Virginia Beach and we weren't disappointed. The food was actually really good and the staff were so nice and welcoming. We loved it and will definitely be back if we are ever visiting Virginia Beach again! The food was good trust me (I'm filipino and my fiance is puerto rican/african american and we both loved it and we are coming from families who can cook!)

Ordered delivery from here and it came on time, but the way they packaged the food made a huge mess all over the bag. The food was okay. Typical carinderia-style Filipino food. Chicken adobo = just okay, strong vinegar taste, not savory. Wouldn’t order again. Beef nilaga = not good, bland, tender beef, although portion was huge, this was a huge disappointment. Chicken bbq = very good, tender, savory. Pork bbq = tough meat, savory, but burnt! Longganisa = very good. Ginisang upo and monggo = satisfying Sinigang soup = very good, very sour. The pork BBQ was a huge disappointment. It’s marinated well but how they managed to burn it is ridiculous. You can’t really eat most of it.

Ihaw Ihaw Filipino Cuisine is one of those places that feels genuinely rooted in tradition. The flavors are bold and comforting, the kind of food that tastes like it came straight from a family kitchen rather than a commercial menu. You can tell there’s care in how everything is prepared β€” it’s not rushed, it’s not watered down. If you’re looking for authentic Filipino dishes in Virginia Beach, this spot delivers both flavor and heart

I was excited for the Bicol Express, to me let down tremendously. Where was the heat? The flavor? The creaminess and funky broth? The fried sweet plantains were great, but I was most excited for what might possibly be the worst offering on their menu. It's like expecting your mothers home made lasagne, to pull a Stouffer's out of the fridge.

Super delicious food my first time eating in a Filipino restaurant that we had the noodles divine! Really scrumptious so good actually we came back two days in a row! We had jackfruit which I had never had in a savory dish it was really really fantastic. Then we had like a chicken stew and then we had a roast beef stew. And the bananas were phenomenal their sweet plantain fried and some type of a crispy wrapper. Highly recommend going here and everyone was very helpful the customers were helping us before we got to the counter so we would know what to order and what everything was. In total we've gone there three times every time is delicious
